">The Metcalf Foundation is highly respected for its philanthropy and support for research to inform public policy. Its latest biennial report published in 2022 addresses “What Matters Now” in the aftermath of the global pandemic. The designers collaborated closely with artist Dalbert B. Vilarino to intimately integrate their striking illustrations with their design’s bold typography and colours to amplify the urgency of Metcalf’s work over the past two challenging years. The theme is presented initially on the front cover as a question but is transformed into an emphatic statement on the back to leave readers with a message of hope and empowerment.In addition to the printed brochure, there is an impressively elaborate mini-site that supports the content and illustrations with animations.
